What is on the menu??
We stopped by here for a late lunch one weekday afternoon in August 2019. I think the building is a former train station which gives it this charming historic vibe. The food and service was pretty good. The watermelon gespacho soup (a featured soup that day) was awesome. I also quite enjoyed the tortiere as well. We loved the patio that overlooks the Gatineau river.
MoreGreat view and great food at reasonable prices!
I had some really good food. Stuff I never tried before. It was a good experience. It is a good meeting place, whether it's for a date or for food with family. I had a good time.
MoreAlways satisfied in this plaçe, friendly staff and delicious well designed dishes. Nice location beside lake and close to walking path. They also have good collection if white wines for summer time.
MoreHeavenly brunch! We've been coming here for years, the food is beautifully served and delicious. Charming atmosphere with seating available with lakeside view. Friendly and attentive service. A romantic vibe, also perfect for a relaxed meal with close friends.
MoreExcellent place for lunch or dinner. Well worth a drive from Ottawa. Very tasty food, just right, also for us Europeans. The service was excellent, could not have been better. The food also, thank's a lot, Mr. master chef! It is rare to find this high level of combined creativity, artistry, taste (abstract), taste (real), sense and feel, cooking skills and perfection.
MoreThis quaint little place has a menu to suit everyone. With Sunday brunch this would be a great place to take someone special. The view is spectacular and the picturesque village offers it's wares.
MoreGood food, friendly service and ambience.
Fantastic food and a wonderful location in Wakefield in the old train station. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. With the trip to try.
MoreBuffet brunch on Sunday was really great! Fresh assortment of local produce prepared into several amazing salads (with homemade salad dressing), croissants as well as the usual eggs, beans, sausage and hash browns. Suggest you make a reservation. Excellent service and stunning location.
MoreBad service. We went for a romantic dinner and my bf got his food 20 mins after i did. Very disapointed.
MoreWe got there at about 12:45 p.m. and were seated on the patio. Beautiful view of Gatineau River and a nice breeze. After looking at menu, decided on the brunch buffet. Nice selection of salads, cheeses, fruits, vegetables, baked beans, croissants, scrambled eggs, types of sausages but stay away from the has browns...they were mushy and not tasty. We each had two plates of yummies. Service was great and friendly. The price was $18.00 pp for buffet. This may have been an old train station turned restaurant. Lovely to look at.
MoreConsistently good food and service. Worth the drive for the food and the view when sitting on the terrace.
MoreCosy place to feel home. Tasty self made food, including soups. Friendly staff.
Best latkes! Always friendly service. This place is so beautiful. The patio along the river and train tracks are just too picture perfect. It's a great getaway from the city.
MoreI would have given at least 4 stars last year, but the last 2 dining experiences were underwhelming. The mains sounded appealing on the menu but the execution was definitely lacking. Hoping they get back to higher standards with their dinner menu
MoreI LOVE this place. Great atmosphere and friendly service. Very quaint and unique set up in this re-purposed train station. Reasonably priced and each dish was better than the last. Can't wait to go back!
MoreExcellent food and great location! It's been a long time since I've had a vegetable soup this flavorful! Québec tourtière was great too!
MoreLovely setting in an old railway station in Wakefield. Nice ambience, good food, friendly staff, reasonable price.
